Sammy Austen-Jones

Sammy is one of Aerobility’s two young ambassadors. In 2018, Sammy was introduced to Aerobility by his grandad. The same year Sammy started suffering with mental ill health which had a profound impact on his life.

In 2022, Sammy started to fly with Aerobility to improve his emotional wellbeing. He is currently progressing towards his private pilots licence (PPL) in the PA28 fleet at Aerobility HQ, Blackbushe. Sammy has ambitions to gain his air transport pilots licence (ATPL) and make a living as an airline pilot! Sammy credits his passion for aviation seeing him through his poor mental health.

Outside of flying Sammy is studying for his A-Levels and is a Member of Youth Parliament for Surrey.
